.بنام ایزد بخشایشگر مهربان |

Woe to every slanderer, fault-finder! |
1 |
واى بر هر بدگوی(تحقیر کننده) عیبجویى |
|
|
Who has gathered wealth and counts it a safeguard. |
2 |
همان که مالی گردآورده و آنرا میشمارد |
|
|
Thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! |
3 |
میپندارد که همانا مالش جاویدانش کند |
|
|
Nay, but he will be abandoned to crushing torment! |
4 |
نه هرگز! همانا اودرحطمه فرو افکنده شود |
|
|
And what could make you conceive what that crushing torment will be? |
5 |
و تو چه دانی که حطمه چیست |
|
|
A fire kindled by God. |
6 |
آتش فروزان الهى است |
|
|
which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: |
7 |
آتشى كه بر دلها افتاده |
|
|
Surely, it will close in upon them |
8 |
همانا آن آتش آنها را فراگرفته |
|
|
In endless columns! |
9 |
در ستونهای سر بر کشیده |
|
