|
And God thus purifies those who have attained to faith, and annihilates those who deny the truth. |
169 |
و تا اینکه خداوند پاک کند کسانیرا که ایمان بیاورند و نابود کند کافران را |
*
|
|
Do you think that you could enter paradise unless God takes cognizance of those who have strived among you as well as those who have been patient in adversity? |
170 |
فکر میکنید وارد بهشت میشوید بدون اینکه خداوند معلوم کند کسانی از شما را که [ در راه حق ] کوشا هستند و کسانیکه شکیبایند؟ |
|
| For, indeed, you did long for death [in God’s cause] before you came face to face with it; and now you have seen it with your own eyes! |
171 |
همانا شما آرزوی مرگ میکردید پیش از آنکه آنرا دریابید و اینک مناظر آنرا میبینید!د |
|
|
And Mohammad is only a messenger like messengers before him who have passed away. If he dies or gets killed, would you then turn on your heels and flee? But whoever turns on his heals and flees will not harm God in the least. whereas God rewards those who are grateful. |
172 |
و محمد پیامبری است چون پیامبران دیگر که درگذشتند ، آیا اگر وی درگذرد یا کشته شود شما بازگشته فرار میکنید؟ اگر چنین کنید بخداوند زیانی نمیرسانید ولی خداوند سپاسگزاران را پاداش میدهد |

|
And no one dies except with God’s permission according to a specific recorded time. Furthermore, whoever wishes the good of this world, We will give him thereof and whoever wishes the good of the Hereafter, We will give him thereof. And We thus reward those who are grateful. |
173 |
و هیچکس نمیرد مگر به اذن خدا در زمانی مقررشده . و هرکس پاداش این جهانی بخواهد ازآن بدو خواهیم داد و هرکس پاداش جهان دیگر درخواست کند ازآن بدو خواهیم بخشید و بزودی جزای سپاسگزاران را خواهیم داد |

|
And many prophets fought alongside many godly people in the cause of God; they were not burdened by what afflicted them, nor were they weakened nor did they give up. Since God loves those who are patient in adversity; |
174 |
چه بسا پیامبری که با همراهی تعداد کثیری ازجان گذشتگان همی نبردکرد بدون اینکه از سختیها در راه [رضای ] خدا دلسرد شود یا سستی نماید و یا پستی کند . و خداوند شکیبایان را دوست دارد |

|
And all that they said was: "O our Sustainer! Forgive our sins and the lack of moderation in our doings! And make firm our steps, and grant us victory over those who deny the truth!" |
175 |
وگفتارشان جز این نبود که گفتند: پروردگارا ! گناهان و زیاده رویهای ما را بیامرز ، گامهای ما را استوار دار و ما را بر قوم کافر پیروزنما |

|
Therefore, God granted them the goodness of this world as well as the beautiful goodness of the Hereafter. Moreover, God loves the doers of good. |
176 |
از اینرو خداوند در این دنیا بدانها پاداش داد و نیز بهترین پاداشها در جهان دیگر . وخداوند نیکوکاران را دوست دارد |
|
|
O you who have attained to faith! If you obey those who deny the truth, they will cause you to turn back on your heels and you will end up with the losers. |
177 |
ای کسانیکه ایمان آورده اید اگر از کافران فرمان برید شما را بازپس خواهند برد و از زیانکاران خواهید شد |
|
|
Nay, but God alone is your Lord Supreme, and He is the best supporter. |
178 |
ولی خدا مولی و سرپرست شمااست و او بهترین یار و یاور است |
|
|
We will soon throw terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved because of what they have set up as partners for God, without any authorization, and their abode is the Fire. And what a miserable abode for those who do evil. |
179 |
بزودی در دل کافران هراس می اندازیم از آنرو که به خدا شرک ورزیدند بدون هیچ دلیل و سندی ، و جایگاه آنها آتش است چه سرانجام بدی برای ستمکاران |

|
And God did indeed fulfill His promise, when you defeat them by His leave, then you showed weakness and acted contrary to the [Prophet's] command, and disobeyed after He had brought you within view of that [victory] for which you were wishing. Among you were those who liked this world [alone], and among you were those who liked the Hereafter. He prevented you from defeating them in order to test you. But now He has pardoned you. for, God is limitless in His bounty for the believers. |
180 |
ووعده الهی به انجام رسید و با رخصت وی دشمنان را نزدیک بود شکست بدهید ، تا اینکه سستی کردید و برخلاف دستور [پیامبر] شورش نمودید پس از اینکه آنچه را دوست میداشتید بشما ارائه شد .از شما برخی دنیا را میخواهند و برخی آخرت را . سپس برای امتحانتان شما را از نبرد با آنها منصرف نمود ! و همانا شما را بخشید که خداوند بر مؤمنین بس بخشنده است

|
When you fled and paid no attention to anyone, even as the messenger called after you, therefore, He afflicted you with a sorrow in return for [the Apostle's] sorrow, so that you should not grieve [merely] over your lost nor over what afflicted you before. And God is All Cognizant of what you do. |
181 |
آنگاه که فرار میکردید و بهیچکس توجه نداشتید در حالیکه پیامبر از پس شما ، شما را میخواند . پس با اندوه [پیامبر] دچاراندوه و پریشانی شدید که تنها برای آنچه از شما فوت شد وسختیهایی که بشما رسید اندوهگین مباشید . و خداوند به هرچه میکنید آگاه است |

|
Then following the sorrow, He sent down to you an inner calm in order to give a group of you tranquility. While another group who cared mainly for themselves, entertained wrong thoughts about God - thoughts of pagan ignorance - saying,"Did we, then, have any power of decision [in this matter]?" Say: "Surely, all power of decision does rest with God" - [but as for them,] they are trying to conceal within themselves that [weakness of faith] which they would not reveal to you. They say if we had any power of decision, we would have not gotten killed here. Say, even if you were in your homes, indeed, the ones who are preordained to get killed, it will follow them to their beds. And God thus tests what is inside your chests and He purifies your hearts. And God is All Knowing of the innermost thoughts. |
182 |
پس از آن اندوه ، آرامش خواب آوری فراگرفت گروهی از شما را ، و گروهی دیگر که تنها بفکر "خود" بودند بخدا گمانهای نادرست زمان جاهلیت را بردند و گفتند" آیا ما در این جنگ اراده ای داشتیم؟" بگو[ای پیغمبر]: همانا همه کارها به اراده خدااست . آنها در خود پنهان میکنند آنچه را که برای تو اظهار نمیکنند - میگویند اگر ما اراده ای داشتیم چنین کشته نمیدادیم . بگو" حتی اگر در خانه هایتان بودید ، آنگاه که کشته شدن بر شما مقرر میشد در خوابگاه هایتان بسراغ شما می آمد" . و بدینسان خدا شما را آزمایش کند بدانچه در سینه دارید و آشکار کند آنچه را در دل دارید و خداوند به هرآنچه در سینه دارید بس دانااست |

Behold, as for those of you who turned back and fled, the day the two armies met, Satan caused them to stumble only by means of something that they [themselves] had done. But now God has pardoned them. Indeed God is All Forgiving, Clement. |
183 |
همانا آنهایی از شما که در روز نبرد دو سپاه پشت کردند ، شیطان آنهارا به لغزش انداخت بعلت برخی خصوصیات اکتسابی . و هرآینه خداوند از آنها درگذشت که البته خداوند بس آمرزنده و بخشنده وبردبار است |

|
O you who have attained to faith! Do not be like those who deny the truth and say of their brethren who traveled or went to war, had they remained with us, they would not have died or gotten killed. - for God will cause such thoughts to become a source of bitter regret in their hearts, since it is God who grants life and deals death. And God sees all that you do. |
184 |
ای کسانیکه ایمان آورده اید چون کافران مباشید که هرگاه برادرانشان میخواهند بمسافرت ویا جنگی بروند بدانها میگویند:" اگر نزد ما بمانید نمیمیرید و کشته نمیشوید" - برای اینکه خداوند باعث میشود که این ، حسرت در دلهایشان ایجاد کند . درحالیکه خدا زندگی میبخشد و میمیراند و خدا به هر آنچه میکنید بینش دارد |

|
And if you get killed or die in the cause of God, indeed forgiveness from God and His grace are better than all that one could amass [in this world] |
185 |
و اگر در راه خدا کشته شوید ویا بمیرید ، آمرزش و بخشش خدا ازهرچه (که دراین دنیا] گردآورید بهتر است |
|
|
And if you die or get killed, indeed to God you shall be gathered. |
186 |
و اگر بمیرید و یا کشته شوید همانا بسوی خدا محشور میشوید |
|
|
And it was by God's grace that you [O Prophet] did deal gently with your followers: for if you had been harsh and mean-hearted, they would have broken away from you. Therefore, pardon them and pray that they be forgiven, and consult them in all matters of public concern; then, when you has decided upon a course of action, place your trust in God: for, verily, God loves those who place their trust in Him. |
187 |
و از رحمت الهی است که تو چنین نرمخویی و اگر درشتخو و سخت دل میبودی از دور تو پراکنده میشدند . پس آنها را ببخش و برایشان آمرزش طلب نما ، و در امور[ دولتی] با آنها مشورت کن و چون تصمیمی گرفتی برخدا توکل نما که همانا خداوند توکل کنندگان را دوست دارد |
|
|
If God helps you, no one can overcome you. And if He abandons you, then who can help you after Him? In God the believers shall trust. |
188 |
اگر خدا شما را یاری کند هیچکس برشما غالب نخواهد شد و اگر خدا شما را واگذارد چه کسی یاریتان کند .و گروندگان، بر خدا توکل کنند |

|
And it is not conceivable that a prophet should deceive - since he who deceives shall be faced with his deceit on the Day of Resurrection, and no one shall suffer any injustice. |
189 |
هیچ پیامبری فریبکار نیست . وهرکس فریبکار باشد در روز قیامت فریبهایش بوی باز میگردد . سپس همه نفوس آنچه را کسب کرده اند دریافت میکنند و بدانها ستم نمیشود |

|
They are on [entirely] different levels in the sight of God; for God sees all that they do. |
190 |
آنها در نظر خدا درجات [مختلفی] دارند و خداوند بدانچه میکنند بس بینااست |
|
|
Is the one who has sought God’s approval the same as the one who has deserved God’s anger and whose abode is Hell? What a miserable destiny. |
191 |
آیا کسی که رضای خدا را پذیرفته با آنکس که مورد خشم خداوند و جایگاهش دوزخ است همسانست !؟ چه سرانجام بدی |

|
Indeed, God has done a favor to the believers when He appointed a messenger from among them to recite to them His messages, and to cause them to grow in purity, and to teach them the scripture and wisdom- whereas before that they were indeed, most obviously, lost in error. |
192 |
همانا خدا بر مؤمنان منت گزارد آنگاه که از خودشان پیامبری را در میان آنها برانگیخت تا پیامهایش را بدانها برساند ، آنها را پاک کند و کتاب و حکمت بیاموزد . در حالیکه پیش از آن آشکارا در گمراهی بودند |

|
Yet, when you suffer any hardship, in spite of the fact you afflicted twice as much [on your foes], you say; where did this come from? Say, this is a consequence of your own doing. Indeed God is All Powerful over all things. |
193 |
و چون به مصیبتی دچار شدید ، با اینکه دوبرابر آنرا [برای دشمنان] باعث شدید ، گویید: " این از کجا آمد؟" بگو: "از خودتان !". همانا خداوند بر هر چیزی توانااست |

|
And what afflicted you on the day the two armies met was by God’s permission and in order to distinguish the believers,- |
194 |
و مصیبتی که در روز تلاقی دو سپاه بشما رسید با اذن خدا بود تا مؤمنان[حقیقی] معلوم شوند |

|
|
-and to distinguish those who resorted to hypocrisy, when they were told to come and fight in the cause of God or defend yourselves. They said, if we knew how to fight, we would have followed you. They were closer to disbelief on that day than belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts. However, God knows well what they conceal. |
195 |
و نیز منافقان . که بدانها گفته شد بیایید در راه خدا و دفاع از خود جنگ کنید . آنها گفتند : اگر جنگ آوری میدانستیم شمارا پیروی میکردیم . در آنروز آنها به کفر نزدیکتر بودند تا به ایمان . بزبان میگویند مخالف آنچه را که در دلهایشان دارند و خداوند بر آنچه پنهان میکنند بس دانااست |

|
These are the ones who told their comrades, as they stayed behind, had they obeyed us they would not have gotten killed. Say; then repel death from yourselves if you are truthful.

196 |
و کسانیکه بجنگ نرفتند به برادران [دینی شان] گقتند: اگر بما گوش میکردند کشته نمیشدند . بگو: اگر راست میگویید مرگ را از خود دفع کنید |

|
These are the ones who told their comrades, as they stayed behind, had they obeyed us they would not have gotten killed. Say; then repel death from yourselves if you are truthful.

197 |
و کسانیکه بجنگ نرفتند به برادران [دینی شان] گقتند: اگر بما گوش میکردند کشته نمیشدند . بگو: اگر راست میگویید مرگ را از خود دفع کنید |
