In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |

.بنام ایزد بخشایشگر مهربان |

By the bright morning hours, |
1 |
سوگند بتابش خورشید |
|
|
And by the night as it grows dark and still, (*) |
2 |
و شب چون آرام گیرد |
|
|
Your Lord neither abandoned you, nor did He scorn you. |
3 |
که نه پروردگارت ترا ترک کرده و نه خشمگین است |
|
|
And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life). |
4 |
همانا برای تو آخر بهتر از اول است |
|
|
And soon your Lord will grant you enough; that you will be pleased. |
5 |
و همانا بزودى پروردگارت آنچنان به تو عطا كند كه خشنود شوى |
|
|
Did He not find you orphaned and He gave you a shelter? |
6 |
مگر نه تو را يتيم يافت پس پناه داد؟ |
|
|
And find you misguided and He guided you? |
7 |
و گمراهت یافت پس رهبری نمود؟ |
|
|
And find you destitute and He enriched you? |
8 |
و نیازمندت یافت پس بی نیازت گردانید؟ |
|
|
Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, |
9 |
پس یتیم را میازار |
|
|
Nor repulse one who is requesting. |
10 |
ودرخواست کننده (کمک) را از خود مران |
|
|
And as for Lord's blessings, do announce it . |
11 |
و نعمتهاى پروردگارت را بازگو كن |
|
