Say, 'Anyone who opposes Gabriel, [should know] that with God's permission, he has brought down this [Quran] into your heart, confirming the truth of whatever there still remains of previous scriptures, and providing guidance and good news for the believers,' |
97 |
بگو كسى كه با جبرئيل دشمن است [باید بداند که] او به فرمان خدا قرآن را بر قلب تو نازل كرده است در حالیکه آن مؤيد [ حقایق كتابهاى آسمانى] پيش از آن و هدايت و بشارتى براى مؤمنان است |

|
Anyone who opposes God, and His angels, and His message-bearers, including Gabriel and Michael, [should know that] God opposes those who deny the truth. (*) |
98 |
هر كه دشمن خدا و فرشتگان و فرستادگان او {چون} جبرئيل و ميكائيل است [باید بداند كه] خدا يقينا دشمن كافران ( انکار کنندگان حقیقت) است |
|
|
Certainly We have sent down to you clear revelations (signs), and only the wicked will disbelieve them. |
99 |
و همانا بر تو آياتى روشن فرو فرستاديم و [كسى] جز فاسقان آنها را انكار نمىكند |

Is it not so that when they made a promise [ to God] , some of them disregard it? (In fact), most of them do not believe. |
100 |
و مگر چنین نیست كه [يهود] هر گاه پيمانى بستند گروهى از ايشان آن را دور افكندند بلكه بيشترشان ايمان ندارند |

And [even now,] when there has came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming the truth already in their possession, some of the people of the Book throw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if they are not aware of [what it says]!, |
101 |
و اینک كه فرستادهاى از جانب خداوند برايشان آمده كه حقایقی که با آنان است تصديق میکند گروهى از اهل كتاب كتاب خدا را پشتسر می افكنند چنانكه گويى [از آن هيچ] نمىدانند

instead, they pursue what the evil ones used to practice during Solomon's reign. Solomon, however, was not a disbeliever, but the evil ones were disbelievers who did Magic, [they followed] that which was sent down through the two angels of Babel, Haroot and Maroot. These two did not divulge such knowledge without first pointing out: 'We are but a temptation to evil: do not deny [God's] truth!' But the people used it in such evil schemes as the breaking up of marriages. They can never harm anyone against the will of God. They thus learn what hurts them, not what benefits them, and they know full well that whoever practices witchcraft will have no share in the Hereafter. Miserable indeed is what they sell their souls for, if they only knew. |
102 |
وآنچه را كه شيطان[صفت]ها درزمان سليمان انجام میدادند پيروى میکنند ، سليمان كفر نورزيد ليكن آنشيطان[صفت]ها به كفر گراييدند ، به مردم سحر آموختند و آنچه را که بر آن دو (فرشته ویا پادشاه) هاروت و ماروت در بابل فرو فرستاده شده بود پیروی کردند . آن دو هيچ كس را تعليم [سحر] نمىدادند مگر آنكه مىگفتند ما آزمايشى براى شما هستيم پس زنهار [بخدا] كافر نشوید .[ولى] آنها از آن دو چيزهايى آموختند كه بوسيله آن ميان مرد و همسرش جدايى بيفكنند . با آن بدون اجازه خدا به احدى زيان نتوان رساند . ولذا چيزى مىآموزند كه برايشان زيان دارد و فایده ای نمى رساند .هرآینه آنها میدانند كه هركس خريدار اين [متاع] باشد در آخرت بهرهاى ندارد . وه كه چه بداست آنچه بجان میخرند ،اگر بدانند |

|
If they believe and become God-conscious, the reward from God would be far better, if they only knew. |
103 |
و اگر آنها ايمان آورند و پرهيزكارى پيشه كنند، پاداشى كه نزد خداست ، براى آنان بس بهتر است، اگر بدانند |
|
|
O you who believe, do not say [ to the prophet],'Raa`ena' (Listen to us), but rather say, 'Unzurna' (Have patience with us), and you shall listen [to him]. since grievous suffering awaits those who deny the truth. |
104 |
اى كسانى كه ايمان آوردهايد (به پیامبر)مگوييد (ملاحظه ما را بکن) بلکه بگوييد ( با ما شکیباباش) و (به پیامبر) گوش فرا دهید که كافران را عذابى دردناك است |

|
Neither the disbelievers among the followers of the scripture, nor the idol worshipers, wish to see any blessings come down to you from your Lord. However, God showers His blessings upon whomever He chooses. God possesses infinite grace. |
105 |
نه كافران اهل كتاب و نه مشركان، دوست ندارند خيرى از جانب پروردگارتان بر شما فرود آيد با آنكه خدا هر كه را خواهد به رحمتخود اختصاص میدهد و خدا داراى بخشندگى فراوانی است |

|
None of "messages" do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar . Do you not know that God has power over all things? |
106 |
هر "پیامی" را لغو كنيم يا آن را به فراموشى بسپاريم بهتر از آن يا مانندش را مىآوريم . مگر نمیدانى كه خدا بر هر كارى تواناست |

|
Do you not know that God is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and that you have none besides God as your guardian or helper? |
107 |
مگر تو نمیدانى كه فرمانروايى آسمانها و زمين از آن خداست و شما جز خدا یار و نگهبانی نداريد |
|
|
Do you wish to demand of your messenger what was demanded of Moses in the past? Anyone who chooses disbelief, instead of belief, has truly strayed off the right path. |
108 |
آيا مىخواهيد از پيامبر خود همان را بخواهيد كه قبلا از موسى خواسته شد ؟ هر كس كفر را با ايمان عوض كند مسلما از راه راست گمراه شده است |

Many followers of the scripture would rather see you revert to disbelief, now that you have attained to faith .This is due to jealousy on their part, after the truth has become evident to them. Noe the less, forgive them, and leave them alone, until God issues His judgment. God is Omnipotent. |
109 |
بسيارى از اهل كتاب پس از اينكه حق برايشان آشكار شده از روى حسد آرزو مىكنند كه شما بعد از ايمانتان به كفربرگردید . پس عفو كنيد و درگذريد تا خدا فرمان خويش را بياورد كه خدا بر هر كارى تواناست |

|
And be constant in prayer, and render the purifying dues; for, whatever good deed you send ahead for your own selves, you shall find it with God: behold, God sees all that you do. |
110 |
و نماز را برپا داريد و زكات را ادا كنيد; و هر كار خيرى را براى خود از پيش مىفرستيد، آن را نزد خدا خواهيد يافت; همانا خداوند به اعمال شما بيناست. |

|
And they claim, 'No one will enter Paradise except Jews or Christians!' Such is their wishful thinking. Say, 'Show us your proof, if what you say is true.' |
111 |
و میگویند : هرگز كسى به بهشت درنيايد مگر آنكه يهودى يا مسیحی باشد ، اين آرزوهاى ايشان است . بگو اگر راست مىگوييد دليل خود را بياوريد |

Indeed, those who "surrender" themselves absolutely to God alone, while leading a righteous life, will receive their reward from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. |
112 |
آرى هر كس كه خود را با تمام وجود به اوامر الهی تسليم كند و نيكوكار باشد پس مزد وى پيش پروردگار اوست و بيمى بر آنان نيست و غمگين نخواهند شد |

|
An the Jews say, 'The Christians have no basis,' while the Christians say, 'The Jews have no basis.' Yet, both of them read the scripture! Such are the utterances of those who are devoid of knowledge. God will judge them on the Day of Resurrection, regarding their disputes. |
113 |
يهوديان میگویند ترسايان بر حق نيستند و ترسايان میگویند يهوديان بر حق نيستند با آنكه آنان هردو كتاب [آسمانى] را مىخوانند . اافراد نادانند که چون ايشان سخن میگویند .و خداوند روز رستاخيز در آنچه با هم اختلاف مىكنند ميان آنان داورى خواهد كرد |

|
And who could be more unjust than those who bar the mention of God's name from [any of] His houses of worship and strive to ruin them? They ought not to enter therein except in fear[of God]. They will suffer in this life humiliation, and will suffer in the Hereafter a terrible torment. |
114 |
و كيست ستمگرتر از كسی كه نگذارد در عبادتگاه های خدا نام وى برده شود و در ويرانى آن ها بكوشد ؟ آنان نباید جز با ترس(از خدا) وارد آنها شوند . برای آنها در اين دنيا خوارى و در آخرت عذابى بزرگ است |

|
To God belongs the east and the west; wherever you turn there will be the presence of God. God is infinite, all-knowing. |
115 |
و مشرق و مغرب از آن خداست پس به هر سو رو كنيد آنجا روى [به] خداست آرى خدا بسیاردانا و بیکران است |
|
|
And they say, 'God has begotten a son!' Be He glorified; never! To Him belongs everything in the heavens and the earth; all devoutly obey His will. |
116 |
و گفتند خداوند فرزندى براى خود اختيار كرده است . نه ! او منزه است بلكه هر چه در آسمانها و زمين است از آن اوست ، همه فرمان پذير اويند |

|
He is the Initiator of the heavens and the earth: to have anything done, He simply says , 'Be,' and it is. |
117 |
پديد آورنده آسمانها و زمين ، چون به كارى اراده کند فقط مىگويد "باش" پس مىشود |
