0	In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.	بنام خدا ؛ هستی بخش مهربان	0
42:1	HaaMeem.	حا میم	(P)
42:2	Ain Seen Qaaf.	عین سین قاف	(P)
42:3	Thus does God, Allmighty, Most Wise, reveal to you, and to those before you.	اینچنین خداوند توانای دانا به تو و پیشینیان تو وحی میکند	*
42:4	To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth, and He is the Most High, the Great.	آنچه در آسمانها و زمین است برای اوست و او بسیار بلند مرتبه و بزرگ است	*
42:5	The heavens above them almost shatter, (by His Majesty), and the angels praise and glorify their Lord, and they ask forgiveness for those on earth. Verily, God is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.	نزدیک است که آسمانها از بالا شکافته شوند و فرشتگان پيوسته به ستایش پروردگارشان تسبیح بجا مى‏آورند و براى كسانى كه در زمين هستند آمرزش مى‏طلبند.آگاه باشيد خداوند آمرزنده و مهربان است	*
42:6	And those who take guardians besides Him, God is the One in charge of them; you are not the disposer of their affairs.	و آنانکه بجز او یار و یاوری(اولیاء) میگیرند خداوند بر آنها نگهبان است و تو برآنها وکالتی نداری	*
42:7	We thus reveal to you an Arabic Quran to warn the central community and all around it, and to warn about the Day of Summoning that is inevitable. Some will end up in Heaven, and some in Hell.	و لینچنین قرآنی عربی (روشن،بدون ابهام) بتو وحی کردیم تا اهل مکه و پیرامون آنرا از روز رستاخیز , که هیچ تردید و بدگمانی در آن نیست , بیاگاهانی ؛ که گروهی به بهشت و گروهی بدوزخ درآیند	*
42:8	Had God willed, He could have made them one community. But He redeems into His mercy whomever He wills. As for the transgressors, they have neither a protector nor a helper.	و اگر مشیت خدا بود همه را یک امت مینمود ولیکن هرکه را بخواهد در رحمت خود داخل کند وستمکاران را یار و یاوری نیست	*
42:9	Or have they taken guardians besides Him? But God is the Guardian, and He gives life to the dead, and He has power over all things.	آیا بجز او یار و دوستداری(ولی) گرفتند؟ در حالیکه یار و دوستدار تنها خدااست . اوست که مردگان را زنده میکند و اوبر هر چیزی توانااست	*
42:10	Whatever it be wherein you differ, the judgment thereof is God's : such is God my Lord: In Him I trust, and to Him I turn.	و در هر چیز اختلاف کنید داوری آن با خدااست ، اینست خدائیکه پروردگار منست ، خود را بدو میسپارم و بسوی او(با تضرع)بازمیگردم	*
42:11	Initiator of the heavens and the earth. He made mates for you from among yourselves and also for the animals. He thus provides you with the means to multiply. There is nothing that equals Him. He is the Hearer, the Seer.	او آفريننده آسمانها و زمين است و از جنس شما همسرانى براى شما قرار داد و جفتهايى از چهارپايان آفريد; و شما را به اين وسيله ( بوسيله همسران)زياد مى كند; هيچ چيز همانند او نيست و او شنوا و بینااست	*
42:12	To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He is the One who increases the provision for whomever He wills, or reduces it. He is fully aware of all things.	كليدهاى آسمانها و زمين از آن اوست ; روزى را براى هر كس بخواهد گسترش مى دهد يا محدود میکند ؛ او بهمه چیز دانااست	*
42:13	He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: 'You shall uphold this one religion, and do not divide it'. It is hard for the idol worshipers what you invite them to do. God chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).	دین و آئینی را برایتان تشریع کرد که به نوح سفارش نمود و آنچه را بتو وحی کرديم و به ابراهيم و موسى و عيسى سفارش نموديم اين بود كه: دين را برپا داريد و در آن تفرقه ايجاد نكنيد ! برمشركان گران است آنچه شما آنان را به سويش دعوت مى كنيد ! خداوند هر كس را بخواهد برمى‏گزيند، و كسى را که بسوی او باز گردد هدایت میکند	*
42:14	Ironically, they broke up into sects only after the knowledge had come to them, due to jealousy and transgression among themselves.If it were not for a predetermined decision from your Lord to respite them for a definite interim, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the later generations who inherited the scripture are in suspicious (disquieting) doubt concerning it.	آنان پراكنده نشدند مگر بعد از آنكه علم و آگاهى یافتند ; و اين تفرقه جويى نبود مگر بخاطر ظلم و حسد بین آنها; و اگر فرمانى از سوى پروردگارت صادر نشده بود كه تا سرآمد معينى باشند، در ميان آنها داورى مى‏شد; و كسانى كه بعد از آنها وارثان كتاب شدند نسبت به به آن در شك و ترديدند، شكى همراه با بدگمانی	*
42:15	This is what you shall preach, and steadfastly maintain what you are commanded to do, and do not follow their wishes. And proclaim: 'I believe in all the scriptures sent down by God. I was commanded to judge among you equitably. God is our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds and you have your deeds. There is no argument between us and you. God will gather us all together; to Him is the ultimate destiny.'	پس تو دعوت كن و آنچنان كه مامور شده‏اى پایداری نما، و از هوى و هوس آنان پيروى مكن، و بگو: به هر كتابى كه خدا فروفرستاده ايمان دارم و مامورم در ميان شما عدالت كنم; خداوند پروردگار ما و شماست; نتيجه اعمال ما از آن ما است و نتيجه اعمال شما از آن شما، خصومت واحتجاجی بین ما نيست; خداوند ما و شما را در يكجا جمع مى‏كند، و بازگشت همه به سوى اوست	*
42:16	But those who dispute concerning God after He has been accepted, futile is their dispute in the Sight of their Lord , and upon them is wrath, and for them is severe punishment.	كسانى كه درباره خدا بعد از پذيرفتن او، چون و چرا مى كنند، دليلشان نزد پروردگارشان باطل است; و غضب خدا بر آنهاست و عذابى شديد دارند	*
42:17	It is God who has sent down the Book in truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct). For all that you know, the Hour (Day of Judgment) may be very close.	خدا که کتاب را بحق فروفرستاد و نیز میزان را ؛ تو چه دانی شاید ساعت (قیامت) نزدیک باشد	*
42:18	Those who do not believe in it seek to hasten it. As for those who believe, they are concerned about it, and they know that it is the truth. Verily, those who dispute the Hour have gone far astray.	كسانى كه به قيامت ايمان ندارند درباره آن شتاب مى‏كنند ; ولى آنها كه ايمان آورده‏اند پيوسته از آن هراسانند، و مى‏دانند آن حق است . آگاه باشيد كسانى كه در قيامت ترديد مى‏كنند ، در گمراهى عميقى هستند	*
42:19	God is Benignant to His servants; He gives sustenance to whom He pleases, and He is the Powerful, the Almighty.	خداوند نسبت به بندگانش لطف (و آگاهى) دارد ; هر كس را بخواهد روزى مى‏دهد و او نیرومند و شكست‏ناپذير است	*
42:20	Whoever seeks the rewards of the Hereafter, we multiply the rewards for him. And whoever seeks the materials of this world, we give him therefrom, then he receives no share in the Hereafter.	كسى كه جویای خرمن آخرت باشد خرمن او راافزايش مى‏دهيم و كسى كه فقط جویای خرمن دنيا باشد ، از آن (مقداری)به او مى‏دهيم اما در آخرت هيچ بهره‏اى ندارد	*
42:21	They follow idols who decree for them religious laws never authorized by God. If it were not for the predetermined decision, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the transgressors will have a grievous Penalty.	آیا معبودانی دارند که بی اذن خداوند آيينى براى آنها ساخته‏اند؟! اگر مهلت معينى براى آنها نبود، در ميانشان داورى مى‏شد	*
42:22	You will see the transgressors worried about everything they had committed; everything will come back and haunt them. As for those who believed and led a righteous life, they will be in the gardens of Paradise. they shall have, before their Lord, all that they wish for.That will indeed be the magnificent Bounty	ستمگران را مى‏بينى كه از اعمالى كه انجام داده‏اند سخت بيمناكند، ولى آنها را فرامى‏گيرد! اما كسانى كه ايمان آورده و كارهاى شايسته انجام داده‏اند در باغهاى بهشتند و هر چه بخواهند نزد پروردگارشان براى آنها فراهم است; اين است فضل (و بخشش) بزرگ	*
42:23	This is the good news from God to His servants who believe and lead a righteous life. Say, 'I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for near relativese'.Anyone who does a righteous work, we multiply his reward for it. God is Forgiver, Appreciative.	اين همان چيزى است كه خداوند بندگانش را كه ايمان آورده و اعمال صالح انجام داده‏اند به آن نويد مى‏دهد! بگو: من هيچ پاداشى از شما بر رسالتم درخواست نمى‏كنم جز دوست‏داشتن نزديكان(م) ; و هر كس كار نيكى انجام دهد ، بر نيكى‏اش مى‏افزاييم; چرا كه خداوند آمرزنده و سپاسگزار است	*
42:24	Are they saying, 'He has fabricated lies about God!'? If God willed, He could have sealed your mind, but God erases the falsehood and affirms the truth with His words. He is fully aware of the innermost thoughts.	آيا مى‏گويند: او بر خدا دروغ بسته است‏؟! در حالى كه اگر خدا بخواهد بر قلب تو مهر مى‏نهد ( اگر خلاف بگوئى قدرت اظهار اين آيات را از تو مى‏گيرد) و باطل را محو مى‏كند و حق را بفرمانش پابرجا مى‏سازد; چرا كه او از آنچه درون سينه‏هاست آگاه است	*
42:25	He is the One who accepts the repentance from His servants, and remits the sins. He is fully aware of everything you do.	و اوكسى است كه توبه را از بندگانش مى‏پذيرد و بديها را مى‏بخشد، و آنچه را انجام مى‏دهيد مى‏داند	*
42:26	And He answers those who believe and do good deeds, and gives them more out of His grace. As for the disbelievers, they have incurred a severe retribution.	و درخواست كسانى را كه ايمان آورده و كارهاى نيك انجام داده‏اند مى‏پذيرد و از فضل خود بر آنها مى‏افزايد; اما براى كافران عذاب شديدى است	*
42:27	If God increased the provision for His servants, they would transgress on earth. This is why He sends it precisely measured to whomever He wills. He is fully Cognizant and Seer of His servants.	هرگاه خداوند روزى را براى بندگانش وسعت بخشد، در زمين طغيان و ستم مى‏كنند; از اين‏رو بمقدارى كه مى‏خواهد نازل مى‏كند، همانا او به بندگانش آگاه و بینااست	*
42:28	He is the One who sends down the rain after they had despaired, and spreads His mercy. He is the only Guadian, Most Praiseworthy.	او كسى است كه باران سودمند را پس از آنكه مايوس شدند نازل مى‏كند و رحمت خويش را مى‏گستراند; و او ولى (یار وسرپرست) و شایسته ستایش است	*
42:29	Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the creatures He spreads in them. He is able to summon them, when He wills.	و از آيات اوست آفرينش آسمانها و زمين و آنچه از جنبندگان در آنها منتشر نموده; و او هرگاه بخواهد بر جمع آنها تواناست	*
42:30	Anything bad that happens to you is a consequence of your own deeds, and He overlooks many (of your sins).	هر مصيبتى به شما رسد بخاطر اعمالى است كه انجام داده‏ايد، و بسيارى را نيز عفو مى‏كند	*
42:31	You can never escape, and you have none beside God as a protector and helper.	و شما هرگز نمى‏توانيد در زمين از قدرت خداوند فرار كنيد; و غير از خدا هيچ ولى و ياورى براى شما نيست	*
42:32	Among His Signs are the ships that sail the sea with sails like flags(or mountains).	از نشانه‏هاى او كشتيهايى است كه در دريا همچون كوه‏ها به نظر مى‏رسند	*
42:33	If He willed, He could have stilled the winds, leaving them motionless on top of the water. Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful.	اگر او اراده كند، باد را ساكن مى‏سازد تا آنها بر پشت دريا بى‏حركت بمانند; در اين نشانه‏هايى است براى هرشکیبای سپاسگزاری	*
42:34	He can destroy them, as a consequence of their own works. Instead, He overlooks many (of their sins).	يا اگر بخواهد آنها را بخاطر اعمالى كه سرنشينانش مرتكب شده‏اند نابود مى‏سازد; و در عين حال بسيارى را مى‏بخشد	*
42:35	And those who dispute about Our Signs may know that there is no place of refuge for them	وکسانى كه در آيات ما مجادله مى‏كنند بدانند هيچ گريزگاهى ندارند	*
42:36	Whatever you are given is no more than temporary material of this life.What God possesses is far better and everlasting, for those who believe and trust in their Lord.	آنچه به شما عطا شده متاع زودگذر زندگى دنياست، و آنچه نزد خداست براى كسانى كه ايمان آورده و بر پروردگارشان توكل مى‏كنند بهتر و پايدارتر است	*
42:37	And those who avoid the greater sins and shameful deeds, and when angered they forgive.	همان كسانى كه از گناهان بزرگ و اعمال زشت اجتناب مى‏ورزند، و هنگامى كه خشمگين شوند گذشت مى‏كنند	*
42:38	And those who respond to their Lord by observing the Contact Prayers (Salat). Their affairs are decided after due consultation among themselves, and from our provisions to them they give (to charity).	و كسانى كه دعوت پروردگارشان را اجابت كرده و نماز را برپا مى‏دارند و كارهايشان به صورت مشورت در ميان آنهاست و از آنچه به آنها روزى داده‏ايم انفاق مى‏كنند	*
42:39	And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, help and defend each other.	و كسانى كه هرگاه ستمى به آنها رسد، (تسليم ظلم نمى‏شوند و) يارى مى‏طلبند	*
42:40	Although the just requital for an injustice is an equivalent retribution, those who pardon and maintain righteousness are rewarded by God. He does not like the unjust.	كيفر بدى، مجازاتى است همانند آن; و هر كس درگذرد و نیکی كند، پاداش او با خداست; خداوند ستمکاران را دوست ندارد	*
42:41	Certainly, those who stand up for their rights, when injustice befalls them, are not committing any error.	كسى كه در برابر ستم يارى طلبد، ايرادى بر او نيست	*
42:42	The wrong ones are those who treat the people unjustly, and resort to aggression without provocation. For these there will be a painful torment.	ايراد و مجازات بر كسانى است كه به مردم ستم مى‏كنند و در زمين بناحق برتری جویی مى‏نمایند; براى آنان عذاب دردناكى است	*
42:43	Resorting to patience and forgiveness reflects a true strength of character.	اما كسانى كه شكيبايى كنند و درگذرند ، اين از كارهاى پرارزش است	*
42:44	Whomever God sends astray will never find any other protector, and you will see such transgressors, when they see the torment, saying, 'Is there any way to return?'	کسى را كه خدا گمراه كند، ولى و ياورى جز او نخواهد داشت; و ظالمان را (روز قيامت) مى‏بينى هنگامى كه عذاب الهى را مشاهده مى‏كنند ميگويند: آيا راهى به سوى بازگشت (و جبران) وجود دارد؟	*
42:45	And you will see them brought forward to it (Hell) made humble by disgrace . and looking, yet trying to avoid looking. Those who believed will proclaim: 'The real losers are those who lost their souls and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Truly the transgressors are in a lasting torment .	و آنها را مى‏بينى كه بر آتش عرضه مى‏شوند در حالى كه از شدت مذلت خاشعند و زير چشمى (به آن) نگاه مى‏كنند; و كسانى كه ايمان آورده‏اند مى‏گويند: زيانكاران آنانند كه خود و خانواده خويش را روز قيامت از دست داده‏اند ; آگاه باشيد كه ستمکاران در عذاب دائمند‏	*
42:46	They had no guardian to help them against God. And whomever God sends astray can never be guided.	آنها جز خدا اوليا و ياورانى ندارند كه ياريشان كنند; و هر كس را خدا گمراه سازد، هيچ راه نجاتى براى او نيست	*
42:47	You shall respond to your Lord before a day comes which is decreed inevitable by God. There will be no refuge for you on that day,nor any denying .	اجابت كنيد پروردگار خود را پيش از آنكه روزى بیاید كه بازگشتى براى آن در برابر اراده خدا نيست ; و در آن روز، نه پناهگاهى داريد و نه انکاری	*
42:48	If they turn away, we did not send you as their guardian. Your sole mission is delivering the message. When we shower the human beings with mercy, they become proud (and joyful), and when adversity afflicts them, as a consequence of their own deeds, the human beings turn into disbelievers.	و اگر روى‏گردان شوند (غمگين مباش)، ما تو را حافظ آنان (و مامور اجبارشان) قرار نداده‏ايم; وظيف‏ه تو تنها ابلاغ رسالت است! و هنگامى كه ما رحمتى از سوى خود به انسان بچشانيم به آن دلخوش مى‏شود، و اگر بلايى بخاطر اعمالى كه انجام داده‏اند به آنها رسد (به كفران مى‏پردازند)، چرا كه انسان بسيار كفران‏كننده است	*
42:49	To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He creates whatever He wills, granting daughters to whomever He wills, and granting sons to whomever He wills.	مالكيت و حاكميت آسمانها و زمين از آن خداست; هر چه را بخواهد مى‏آفريند; به هر كس اراده كند دختر مى‏بخشد و به هر كس بخواهد پسر	*
42:50	Or, He may have the males and the females marry each other, then render whomever He wills sterile. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent.	یا مردان و زنان را به ازدواج یکدیگر درآورد. وهرکه را بخواهد عقیم(نازا) میکند ؛ همانا او دانا و توانااست	*
42:51	No human being can communicate with God except through revelation, or from behind a barrier, or by sending a messenger through whom He reveals what He wills. He is the Most High, Most Wise.	با هیچ بشری خدا سخن نمیگوید مگر از طریق وحی یا از پس پرده ویا فرستاده ای میفرستد تا به اذن وی آنچه را اومیخواهد وحی کند ؛ همانا او بس بلند مرتبه و فرزانه است	*
42:52	Thus, we revealed to you an inspiration of our command. You had no idea about the scripture, or faith. Yet, we made this a light to guide whomever we choose from among our servants. Surely, you guide to the straight path:	و اینچنین روحی از امر خودرا بسوی تو وحی کردیم , تو نمیدانستی کتاب چیست و ایمان کدامست ، ولیکن ما آنرا نوری گردانیدیم تا بدان هرکس از بندگانمان راکه بخواهیم هدایت کنیم . و همانا تو هدایت میکنی براه مستقیم	*
42:53	The path of God, to whom belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Behold (how) all affairs tend towards God!	براه خدایی که هرچه در آسمانها و درزمین است برای اوست ؛ آگاه باش ! همه امور بسوی باز میگردد	*
