الف . لام . میم |

|
This the Scripture, no doubt about it; is a guidance for the God-conscious, |
2 |
این کتاب،بدون شک وبدگمانی درآن ،راهبری است برای پرهیزکاران و پرواپیشگان (خدا آگاهان)ا |
|
|
Those who believe in the Unseen (that which is beyond the reach of human perception), are constant in [Contact] Prayer, and from what We provided for them as sustenance , they spend(on others), |
3 |
آنها که به ناآشگار(غیب) باور دارند ، نماز برپا میدارند و از آنچه بدانها روزی داده ایم (به دیگران)انفاق میکنند |
|
|
and those who believe in what has been revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, and with regard to the Hereafter, they are absolutely certain |
4 |
و آنها که بدانچه برتو و بر پیش از تو فرو فرستاده شده باور دارند و بزندگی دیگر (آخرت) باور استوار (یقین) دارند |
|
|
Those are guided by their Lord; those are the winners. |
5 |
آنها از سوی پروردگارشان رهبری شده اند و آنها رستگارانند |
|
|
Behold, as for those who [deliberately] deny the truth, it is alike to warn them or not , they will not believe. |
6 |
همانا برای آنها که اصرار برکفر دارند هشدار بدهی یا ندهی یکسان است ، ایمان نمی آورند |
|
|
God has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and over their eyes is a cover. For them is an awesome suffering . (*) |
7 |
خدا بر دلها و شنوایی آنها مهر زده و بر چشمهای آنها پرده ایست و برای آنها است رنج وشکنجه ای بزرگ |

|
|
Then there are those who say, "We believe in God and the Last Day," while they do not [realy]believe. |
8 |
و برخی از مردم هستند که میگویند به خدا و روز واپسین باور داریم در حالیکه واقعا باوری ندارند |
|
|
They desire to deceive God and those who believe, they do not deceive except themselves without perceiving. |
9 |
این برای گول زدن خدا و گروندگان اوست ولی تنها خود را گول میزنند و اینرا درک نمی کنند |
|
|
In their hearts is a disease ,so God let their disease increase. For them is a painful suffering because of their persistent lying. |
10 |
دل آنها بیمار است و خدا بر بیماری آن افزود و بر آنهااست عذابی دردناک چون دروغ میگویند |
|
|
When they are told, "Do not spread corruption on earth," they said, "But we are improving things!" |
11 |
و چون به آنها گفته شود که بر روی زمین تبهکاری مکنید گویند ما اصلاح کنندگانیم |
|
|
Indeed, they are spreading corruption, but they do not perceive. |
12 |
بدرستی آنها تبهکارانند اما درک نمی کنند
|

|
And when they are told, "Believe as other people believe," they say, "Shall we believe as the fools believe?" In fact, it is they who are fools, but they do not know. |
13 |
و هنگامی که بدانها گفته شود :"ایمان آورید همانند دیگران که ایمان می آورند" . گویند آیا بمانند ابلهان ایمان آوریم !؟ همانا خود ابلهند ونمیدانند |
|
|
When they meet the believers, they said, "We believe," but when alone with their devils, they said, "We are with you; but we were only mocking." |
14 |
آنگاه که با مؤمنان روبرو شوند گویند ما ایمان آورده ایم و چون با شیاطین خود تنها شوند گویند:"همانا ما با شماییم ، فقط آنها را مسخره میکردیم" . ج |
|
|
God will mock them, and extends them in their arrogance, while they are puzzled. |
15 |
خدا آنها را بمسخره گرفته و در ادامه سرکشی مددشان میدهد در حالیکه سرگردان و گیجند |
|
|
It is they who bought the straying, at the expense of guidance. Their trade didn't profit, and they didn't find guidance [elsewhere]. |
16 |
آنها کسانیند که گمراهی را بهزینه هدایت خریده اند . چنین تجارتی برایشان نه سودی دارد و نه راه بجایی برند |
|
|
Their example is like those who ignite a fire, then, as it illuminates all around them, God takes away their light, leaving them in utter darknesse, unable to see. |
17 |
مثل آنها مثل مردمی است که آتشی بیفروزند سپس تا پرتو آن پیرامونشان را روشن کرد خدا نورش را ببرد و در تاریکی آنها را رها کند تا هیچ نبینند |

|
Deaf, mute, and blind; they cannot turn back. |
18 |
کور و کر و لال ، وآنها برگشت نتوانند |
|
|
Or as a violent rainstorm in the sky, with utter darknesse, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers into their ears, in terror of death; but God encompasses the disbelievers. |
19 |
یا بمانند رگباری از آسمان که در آن ، ظلمات و رعدوبرق است .آنهاانگشت در گوش خود فروبرند از ترس صائقه ها و مرگ . و خدا بر کافران محیط است |
|
|
The lightning almost snatched away their eyesights; whenever it gives them light, they advance in it, and whenever it turns dark, they stand still. And if God so willed, He could indeed take away their hearing and their sight. Surely God has the power to will anything. |
20 |
نزدیک بود برق دید آنها را ببرد . هرگاه روشن میشود جلو میروند و بهنگام تاریکی باز می ایستند . اگر خدا بخواهد بینایی و شنوایی آنها را میگیرد . همانا خدا وند در انجام هرچیز توانااست |

|
O people, worship only your Lord - the One who has created you and those before you - so that you may be virtuous. |
21 |
ای مردم ! پروردگار خود را عبادت کنید پروردگاری که شما و پیشینیان شما را آفریده ، باشد که پرهیزکار شوید |
|
|
The One who has made the earth a resting-place for you, and the sky a canopy. He has sent down water from the sky , to produce all kinds of fruits for your sustenance. So do not make to God compeers, while you know. |
22 |
او که زمین را برایتان گسترد و آسمان را برپاساخت و آبرا از آسمان فروبارید تا از آن انواع میوه ها برای روزی شما پدید آید . پس برای خدا همتایی مگیرید با آنکه میدانید |
|
|
And if you have any doubt regarding what we revealed to Our servant, then produce one chapter like these, and call upon any other than God to bear witnesses for you, if you are truthful. |
23 |
اگر در آنچه بر بنده خود فرو فرستادیم شک دارید واگر راست میگویید پس سوره ای بمانند آن بیاورید درحالیکه بجز خدا گواهان و یاران خود را بکمک میخوانید |
|
|
If you cannot do this - and you can never do this - then beware of the Hellfire, whose fuel is human beings and stones; prepared for disbelievers. |
24 |
پس اگر بجای نیاورید که هرگز نخواهید آورد ، پروا کنید از آتشی که گیرانه آن انسان است و سنگ و برای کافران آماده شده است |

|
But give good news to those who believe and do good deeds that they will have gardens with flowing streams. Whenever they are granted therein fruits as their sustenance, they will say, "This is what was provided for us previously !"-for they shall be given something that will recall that [past]. There they will have purified mates, and they abide therein forever. |
25 |
مژده بده به آنها که ایمان آورده کارهای شایسته میکنند، بوستانهایی که پیوسته جویها در بن آنها روانست . چون از میوه های آن به آنها روزی داده شود گویند این از همانهایی است که قبلا بما داده شده بود ، و همانند است . و در آنجا جفتهای پاکی برای آنهااست و زندگی جاودانه دارند |

|
God does not shy away from citing any kind of allegory, from the tiny mosquito and greater. As for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, where as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What could God mean by such an allegory?" He misleads many thereby, and guides many thereby. But He never misleads thereby except the wicked, |
26 |
همانا خدا باکی ندارد که مثالی زند از یک پشه ریز و یا بزرگتر از آن ؛ کسانیکه ایمان دارند میدانند که آن حق است از سوی پروردگارشان . اما آنها که کافرند گویند منظور خدا ازین مثال چیست ؟ اینچنین خدا گروهی را گمراه و گروهی را هدایت میکند .گرچه گمراه نکند جز فاسقین را |

|
who break God's covenant after it has been established [in their nature], and sever what God has commanded to be joined, and commit evil. These are the losers. |
27 |
کسانی که پیوسته پیمان خدا را پس از تأییدش میشکنند ، آنچه را خدا دستور به پیوندش داده می گسلند و در زمین تباهی میکنند ؛ اینهایند زیانکاران |

|
How can you refuse to acknowledge God, seeing that you were lifeless and He gave you life, and that He will cause you to die and then will bring you again to life, whereupon unto Him you will be brought back?
|
28 |
چگونه بخدا کافر میشوید ؟ در حالیکه مرده بودید بشما زندگی داد ، سپس شما را میمیراند و پس از آن زنده تان میکند و آنگاه بسوی او بازگردانده میشوید |
